Crusin the Coast is ready to go

Crusin the Coast some call it Cruising the Coast is ready to kick off their 12th anniversary. Here is a small sample of what will be going on for the next week.

12th annual Cruisin’ the Coast, throughout South Mississippi, on Oct. 5-12. More than 4,000 registered vehicles expected for this year’s event.

Returning venues: registration at Jones Park in Gulfport, the Swap Meet at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, the Car Auction and Car Corral at Treasure Bay Casino, drag racing at the Gulfport Dragway, the cruise-in at Hardy Court sponsored by Choice Grocery, another cruise-in at the Biloxi VA sponsored by Whitney Bank, the Peoples Bank Biloxi Block Party, and cruise-in venues in the cities of Gulfport, Biloxi (Edgewater Mall), D’Iberville, Ocean Springs and Bay St. Louis (to be held at the Train Depot in lieu of Old Town). Also, the kickoff cruise through downtown Long Beach on Oct. 6, the special venues at Silver Slipper Casino and the Oct. 7 concert in Pass Christian. On Oct. 10, the Flame Throwing Competition returns to the Silver Slipper Casino in Bay St. Louis.
