Not just Biloxi excited about 777
It isn’t just Biloxi that is excited about July 7, 2007 (777). In Biloxi it is the grand opening of the Hard Rock Casino. Nationwide however 777 will mark a huge day for people that want to test their luck on such a lucky day.
Also don’t forget, that it is also my birthday! I was born 7-7-1980, so this will be amazing. I will be in Biloxi for the weekend, so watch out!

The calendar will roll 7-7-7 - that’s July 7, 2007 - and Las Vegas is bracing. Couples hoping for a lucky start in marriage are booking weddings at a furious clip. For instance, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reports that just one wedding spot, the Chapel of the Flowers, has 110 weddings on tap and a wait list.
The Flamingo has 77 weddings booked and will be performing ceremonies from 7 a.m. to midnight. The Venetian casino resort is also planning to wed 77 couples, about triple the normal number.
And the Ritz-Carlton hotel at Lake Las Vegas, about a half-hour southeast of the Strip, has two hotel packages for that weekend: a one-night $777 deal that includes room, seven-course dinner, 70-minute spa treatments for two and breakfast, and a $7,707 two-night extravaganza that includes seven-course meals, 7 a.m. golf tee times, $777 in casino credit and a $777 shopping spree at Neiman Marcus.
