Hard Rock to hold job fair
BILOXI — The Hard Rock Casino will hold a job fair Wednesday and Thursday to fill approximately 1,300 jobs.
Spokesman Emma Haber said the company expects more than 5,000 people to submit resumes or applications during the two-day event. She said that everyone who applies will get an interview with a Hard Rock representative.
The casino, which is located at 777 Beach Blvd., plans to open July 7.
The job fair will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. On Wednesday, Hard Rock representatives will start taking resumes and applications at 10 a.m. On Thursday, they will start taking resumes at 11 a.m. The job fair ends at 6 p.m. both days.
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was originally scheduled to open Aug. 29, 2005, the same day that Hurricane Katrina hit the Coast.
