Isle of Capri Plans to be approved

The Biloxi Planning Commission recommended approval Thursday for the Isle of Capri’s plans to fill in the site where its gambling barge was moored before Hurricane Katrina and put a land-based casino there.

The first level will be a parking garage. The second level will have 88,700 square feet of casino space, restaurants and other amenities. The third floor will have two lounges, three restaurants and a nightclub. The plans go to the City Council for final approval.
