Biloxi police identified the driver as Sumi Johnson, 67, of Vancleave.

Police said she speeded up while negotiating the parking garage, although the reason is unclear. Johnson hit a parked Volkswagen, which pushed that vehicle partly over the wall and flipped her car around. The Jeep rolled backward over the ledge and landed on the passenger side of the car, according to Biloxi Police Sgt. Jackie Rhodes.

Beau Rivage spokeswoman Mary Cracchiolo said the driver was wearing a seat belt and her airbags deployed. She suffered minor injuries, according to the casino. Johnson was able to walk away from the accident.

No citations have been issued and the accident is still under investigation.
