Grand Casino Gulfport $1.6 million jackpot

A man playing the 50-cent Wheel of Fortune progressive slot machine hit a $1.6 million jackpot on Sunday at the Grand Casino Gulfport.

The gambler, who asked the casino to identify him by only his first name, had played a series of slots before moving to the Wheel of Fortune. The progressive slots, which are based on the popular game show, are linked to casinos throughout the state.
